Training with both a Pilates and cross-fit trainer has dramatically improved my cardiovascular levels and allowed me to increase the amount of weight I can lift. I would never experiment on my own with these movements, but I feel safe with my trainer. Now in my 50’s I have seen an improvement over the last year of more than 10% on my bone density.
For me, training with a trainer is incomparable with training alone. Having someone there who motivates you, who holds you accountable and who, above all, makes working out fun means that I workout at least twice as often if I book to train with a trainer vs training alone. Not only does this mean that mentally I feel better, but I am noticeably stronger.
The biggest shift I’ve experienced since consistently working out with my trainer, is that I no longer have chronic aches and pains in my upper back. Prior to having a regular workout routine with my trainer, I was in need of physical therapy on a weekly basis, but now I get to spend that time toning and strengthening my body because the pain is gone!
