Amber Jean Rowan
As a teenager, Amber was diagnosed with alopecia, an autoimmune disease in which the body attacks its own hair follicles and causes hair loss. Born from a sense of isolation and a lack of representation, Amber created Hair Free, a web-based community and blog for others searching for alopecia answers.
The LY-LA x FORFITSAKE campaign was shot on actor, model, yogi, and activist Amber Jean Rowan who is an inspiration and an ambassador to the FORFITSAKE Collective Community. The campaign embraces the diversity and juxtaposition of this elevated approach to everyday performance fashion that is unique to the LY-LA brand.
Amber is the face of the LY-LA x FORFITSAKE. She inspires us, gives us courage, and reminds us it is OK to show up as we are.
