Outdoor Classes in Geneva Available Now! Updated April 2022

Spring is in the air. The weather is warming up. It's time to get outside and get back on your fitness journey. Join us for some of our favourite open-air HIIT, yoga and bootcamp classes in Geneva.

We only recommend trainers and studios that we have independently researched, tested, and loved!


Beach Vinyasa with Mandy

Unroll your mat on the shores of Lac Léman for a practice in tune with this sublime backdrop. Feel the breeze on your skin and embrace the energy of the lake into each asana and every aspect of your being. A gentle yet consistent flow creates and maintains heat whilst you build strength, stamina and flexibility. And you won’t stop smiling! Suitable for all levels.

When & Where

  • Tuesdays 8:30 - 9:30 am at Mies Plage.

  • Fridays 9:00 - 10:00 am at Mies Plage.

What to Bring

Bring your own mat and block (or request on your booking form if you need to borrow), wear layers and perhaps a rug under your mat for extra warmth. And don’t forget the sunglasses! 😎

How to Book

Book your spot at by 6:00 pm the night before.

Quick Tip

Parking is easiest on the lake road either opposite the Buvette de Tannay or street parking at the other end. Contact with any questions.

Get your HIIT On with YES Bootcamp

Join us at an amazing outdoor group training session, with a very friendly atmosphere! YES Bootcamp is a mix of circuit training and interval training, with bodyweight exercises, running, weight lifting, carrying stuff, throwing stuff... to be more specific: it is a lot of FUN!

And the best part? There are 2-4 Parc and Beach Bootcamp classes available every day Monday - Saturday. So no excuses!

Gentle Hatha Yoga with Petra D

If you are looking to centre yourself, join Petra D at one of her outdoor gentle hatha yoga classes.

A classical Hatha-Yoga session is composed of Meditation, Sun salutations, Asana (posture), Pranayama (breathing exercises), and relaxation. This course is open to all skill levels and ideal for beginners. Petra always adapts postures to your individual needs. Petra has more than twenty years of practice, 1'200 hours of Yoga Teacher Training and Swiss ASCA accreditation registration recognized by some complimentary insurance that allows for class cost reimbursement.

When & Where

  • Tuesdays at 6:15 pm in Parc des Eaux-Vives.

What to Bring

Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable, sports clothing. A blanket or a shawl is also recommended to cover yourself for the all-important savasana. Also, wear good socks if you do not want to practice barefoot.

Running Intervals with Yann

If you would like to train in a group environment where you get a real community feeling while pushing yourself toward new running goals, then this class is for you! No matter your level, you will be able to participate and feel happily exhausted by the end of the class.

When & Where

  • Every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 - 1:15 pm at Shape Shack.

What to Bring

Only your running shoes and adequate clothing according to the weather conditions.
